BVK Gang - BEES SAAL BAAD (1988-2008)Friends of the Gang,
It has been 20 years passed by...since we graduated from BVK in 1988.
Remembering those nostalgic moments, looking back and updating our current state of life, I am writing few words to reconnect the gang, share memories and add more members to the chain.
I furnished details that I am aware of from my interactions so far - pleas feel free to add your comments, more details and add people to the thread.
Ramkumar:Current status - Poses as IT Freak, works for Microsoft. Made some devotional CDs out of his lyrics. Currently dwells in Seattle, WA
Life Partner:
Madhuri - Equally competent and continue to challenge his technical abilities and works for Milliman, Seattle, WA. Married in 1994
Kids: 2 boys.
Sonu - young philosopher at 8th grade,
Suki - a veteran by birth at 5th grade. Suki teaches how to behave good and be good parents.
Kishore:Current status - Tested best in almost all fields of engineering, environment and life studies. Finally got into the most desirable position. Lawyer - yes we all get it. Toured US, Chennai, Delhi and Hyderabad. Finally settled in Tanuku in a street owned by their Family name. As we all know district court judges takes tips from Kishore.
Life Partner:
Suchitra - home science professional and best home maker in our community, strong personality and known for patience (handling kishore anger). Married in 1995
Kids: 2 daughters:
Sruti and Mahati. Sruti is child prodigy and listed as top 10 outstanding kids in AP. Mahati tests the presssure limits of Kishore and Suchitra.
Chakravarthy:Current status - a vanilla sky Tom Cruise and Dicaprio of CatchmeIfyouCan. Very turbulent mind and strong opinions on his own. Support global warming - dive into Bio chemistry finally stood as scientist. Worked in Florida enjoyed the beaches, moved to Virginia not happy as there is no seacoast. Moved to switzerland to evaluate their educational practices and finally landed in Hyderabad bio-medical company. Expected to return east coast, USA anytime.
Life Partner:
Adilakshmi - strong partner in our community. Equally ...wait a minute, a bit stronger than chakri driving life goals. Well known for her straight forward thinking and practice.Married in 1998
Kids: 1 boy - Arnav - a star like mahesh babu by birth. We often gets "mind blank avuntundi" if we touch Arnav.
Giridhar:Head of the department, Delhi Public School - Damanjodi, Orissa. Yes thats true. A lecturer by profession and a student by appearance. Still wonder if anyone listens to this guy - I remember he is so scared to give seminars in our class especially Organic Chemistry. I still remember Sarveswara Rao called us twins -
Life Parnter:
Rama - her majesty, I havent had a chance to meet her. I know she hails from Tuni/Payakraopeta. I missed their marriage in 1996?
Kids: 1 girl and 1 boy - he is yet to share pictures or details. He is preparing progress card and will soon share the photos. All I know Niharika in 5th grade and Rishik to start his school adventure this year.
Uma:A global camper and strong home maker. Migrated to Singapore, Texas, USA and finally testing Nigerian weather. EXON moves miles - I thought vehicles but we see families too...An active BVK gang member, an active cultural driven community being. A strong home maker with admirable family.
Life Partner:
Ramesh - the best human being in our community. Best know for his admirable qualities in valuing friendship and community services. Exon still keep Ramesh on wheels.
Kids: The only twins in our community - a boy and girl.
Saket Ram and Sarvani. The last picture I have see these kids in Texas telugu event.
Vijaya:A pioneer to start family early in our gang. Strong parent and equally strong technology professional. Migrated from Vizag directly to west coast and settled in Arizona. Best known for "working from home" often - are you still doing this?, don't kill me.
Life Partner:
Laxman - the best friend you can spend time with, I never notice time when we in Laxman's company. Laxman fly high with boeing and often visits his team in Seattle.
Kids: 2 boys.
Teja - a role model for my sons, just started his college.
Nitish - have strong opinions about life and parents. He matches Suki's potential fair and square.
Sarva Lakshmi:A happy camper, pretends busy always. Thinks too much and have strong opinions ..wait a minute ..soft opinions about life. The most soft hearted and sensitive person on the gang.A doctor by profession - migrated to chandigarh, came to central america (chicago?), settled well in Arizona. As desert do not have much patients she moved to Newyork for patients. The last I spoke to their voicemail may be an year -
Life Partner:
Murthy garu - Best philospher, astrologer and good friend. He patiently bears our noise and crazyness during gatherings. A gold medalist in academics and piece of gold by character.
Kids: 1 boy and 1 girl:
Ujjwall and Nitya. I hope Ujwall still keeps them on nerves. A smart kid at 8th grade with lot of stuff in his brain. The last time I saw Nitya in Arizona a cute little baby. Yet to see their recent pictures.
Anjana:A banking professional stuck with vysya bank, daughter of a strong politician and strong opinions on her life. We admire her courage and straight forwardness - well she still maintains it. The last I have spoken to her in 2006 on phone before I moved to Seattle.I remember she worked in Anakapalli, and now settled in Hyderabad.
Life Partner:
Shekhar - I never met him so I will wait for others to write up.Kids: 1 boy - no details yet!
Sukanya:A surprised real politician and leader in our lot. We never realized she had so much passion to lead and drive masses. That time we are masses. She still took over VicePresident for BJYM (Bharatiya Yuva Morcha). She continue to send me Rakhi every year till 2003, we missed communication later.
Life Partner: no complete details.Kids: 1 boy and 1 girl. I remember them as
Surya Vamsi and
Divya Prabha. (names require recheck)

Sarala:- In Vijayanagar Colony, Hyderabad - she was a botany teacher (??) in Nampally womens college. Voice require recheck not the job. Any takers> we heardly hear Sarala speak...!
Kamesh:- In 1993 - during his job search after his MBA.
Murali:- In 1991 - heard he took over his brother's photo studio in Gopala Patnam
Saba Sheriff:- In 1995 - at vizag railway station, she is moving to england?? I don't remember what she said.
Victor Kamal Kiran:- The duplicate Kamal Hassan in our class. The last I met him in 1992 - he is pursuing Dental after MBBS
Gopala Krishna:- Heard he took over family business in Rajam and enjoying life. No news later.
